Welcome to our summer's capture the flag event, hosted on Google Sheets!
Please note, due to the Google Sheet mechanics, this game will be played similar to a 3-way Battleship game!

PUBLIC VIEWING SHEET

Each Cabin has been provided their own Google Sheet to track the game progress as well as a codeword to access the Google Form to submit their actions.

TURN ORDER: Gryffindor - Slytherin - Ravenclaw

All cabins submitting is considered a single round.

On their turn, each Cabin will select a map and a square to search. Any member with the codeword can submit the form on their Cabin's behalf.

Each House will know what squares have been searched and if a flag/coin/trap was discovered. Details on the value of the coin or what kind of trap will ONLY be announced to the Cabin that searched that square.

Cabins are expected to follow the Trap's instruction for their next search. Traps require you to search the same map, if the map is closed due to the discovery of a flag the trap is disregarded. Penalty for violating the trap is TBD.

Once a flag has been discovered, that map is closed to further searching.

Flags found in the same round will be worth the same trophy. When the 2nd flag is discovered, if the 3rd Team still has a map open to them, they will finish that round (if applicable) and also get 1 additional turn to search. If they find no flag, they will be awarded a copper trophy.

Gold - worth 20 points
Silver - worth 15 points
Bronze - worth 10 points
Copper - worth 5 points

Any coins discovered will be added to the value of your trophy.
